This vibrant exhibition designed for the KAASH Foundation features Jayshree Poddar, Andrea Anastasio, and Bhupendra Bhagel. Darshanam—meaning “viewing"— celebrates worship objects and subjects. Inspired by the Vedantic concept Ahangraha Upasana (“you are what you worship”), Jayshree Poddar presents sculptural pop-art renditions of Devi, blending materials like terracotta, silk, and metal. Illuminated Devi masks draped in silk symbolise diyas. Andrea and Bhupendra's collaboration produces contemporary divas inspired by ancient South Indian oil lamps, using the Dhokra casting method from Chhattisgarh. The exhibition invites a meditative experience, blending traditional and modern elements to explore devotion and illumination.
